In the Netherlands, 1 in 13 children live below the poverty line, something they cannot do anything about themselves. Yet they suffer the consequences here. At school they cannot participate in activities, simply because there is no money for this. In addition to not being able to participate in these activities, they are also unable to keep up with the latest trends in clothing and toys. This can lead to being excluded from the rest of the students at school. They then become alone and feel lonely. At a young age it is very important to learn how to deal with others. The feeling of love and security is important for a good development and a basis for later life. With this concept I want to help these children to develop a community, where they can be part of together with children in the same situation. Here they can create ties with other children who are so important for their further development.
